Now as before, the will of the people is threatened by electoral malpractices of individuals and political parties.

PUAN IS 99% ABOUT A BETTER NIGERIA & 1% ABOUT GOOD GOVERNANCE

PUAN stands for Polling Unit Ambassadors of Nigeria. We are a non-partisan team of patriotic Nigerians who are ready to fight and defend the will of the people in this election so that the best candidates win, for good governance and a better nation.

We are made up of volunteers from the FCT, all 36 states and the 774 local government areas of Nigeria. During elections, we engage trained locals as observers in every polling unit of every ward across the country to monitor and give independent, transparent and on-the-fly report of proceedings.

Goals & Objectives

Goal #1 - A Mover and Shaker Forum

To mobilize about Twenty-Five Million PVC carrying Nigerians, to key into the Nigerian project and form Polling Unit communities within their Polling Unit area and become Polling Unit Ambassadors with the sole intent of influencing and organizing their Polling Unit Communities for free and fair election.

Goal #2 - A People's Electoral System

To create a platform to garner massive support and popularity for the new order in Nigerian Electoral system where the electorates become ultimate deciders of Election outcomes in Nigeria.

Goal #3 - Empirical Candidate Selection

Make a lasting impression on the constituents through a strategic mobilization and local engagements that will identify and address very critical needs of the Nigerian Electorates.

Goal #4 - A Level Playing Ground

To open wider doors to police all existing Polling Units in Nigeria and create a level playing ground for politicians and aspiring leaders across all Political parties for advancement of their political ambitions in 2023 polls; to also create a model for the youths to galvanize activities that will always promote free, fair and credible Elections in Nigeria.

Mobilization for Local participation in Electoral Process

The PUAN is mobilizing a teaming twenty-five million PVC carrying Nigerians to form polling unit communities within their Polling Unit Areas and become Polling Unit Ambassadors with the sole intent of influencing and organizing their Polling Unit Communities for free and fair election.

Local Engagements

Through the local structures, PUAN creates interactive fora that project grassroot electorates via direct engagements and well doctored interactions. PUAN organizes sensitization to help local communities identify and project their communal needs, vet manifestoes by election candidates and vote candidates based on capacity to deliver. The local pre-voting sensitization is particularly geared to work against inducement.

As the dark dread light, so does electoral malpractices fear transparent reporting. PUAN is going all out against any form of shadiness in this election. We are working with INEC and the security agents to mount ambassadors as observers in all the polling units across the country. These ambassadors shall provide live coverage and transparent, independent reporting.
